Inventor

I’m an unstoppable generator of ideas, improvements, and projects.
I’ve always been passionate about computers, electronics, and creative making.
Most of my inventions haven’t exactly been celebrated by the world — yet — but I sure had a great time creating them.
So here, dear reader, I invite you to take a peek into the mind of an inventor.

This page is under construction. I will add inventions, POCs and projects.

Foot Pedal Water Stopper

I don’t have a dishwasher at home — and to be honest, I’ve never really liked them.
Well… never say never. I might grow to like them someday — I’m open to changing my mind.

In any case, this invention came to life while washing dishes and preparing food.
It’s a foot pedal, placed within easy reach of your foot, that starts and stops the flow of water to a standard kitchen faucet.

Using two solenoid valves and a bit of electronics, it lets you turn the water on and off without touching the faucet — you only touch it when you need to adjust the mixer or the flow.

I installed this invention in my home about five years ago, and it’s still working flawlessly.
Visitors do sometimes get confused when no water comes out — but that’s part of the charm.

I’m attaching a video that demonstrates how it works. The pedal shown in the video isn’t exactly a design masterpiece, but it was the best I had at hand at the time — so that’s what stuck.

I use a similar pedal setup to control water in our camper van, where it’s extremely useful — every drop counts when you’re running on a limited water supply, so being able to stop the flow instantly helps save every precious milliliter.

The video is in Czech language, but you will get the point.
